THESE SERVICES ARE BOOKED SERVICES - THERE ARE LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE
FNQ Bus Lines is offering four services to Smithfield and Cairns on different routes and timetables. These services are limited-stop and Intercity style with limited seating available.
We recommend that your seats be booked by calling the office before travel, otherwise seats are on a first-come first-served basis and there is no guarantee of a seat. Bookings and payment can be made over the phone to our office between 8:30am and 4:30pm Mon-Fri (only) on Ph: 4098 2380
Note that these services are available Monday to Friday except for Public Holidays or School Holidays.
We do not have a weekend service.
These services will not run on Public Holidays or School Holidays.
NOTE: Because there are limited seats on each service, students can only travel on their allocated bus service. Students can NOT switch to a different service unless FNQ Bus Lines office has been advised and seat availability has been confirmed. Students who attempt to board a bus where seating has not been confirmed with our office will be refused travel and directed to their usual allocated bus.
MOSSMAN - JCU and Newman College Smithfield Service - BUS NUMBER 1
This service will run from Mossman to JCU/Newman College via Craiglie and Highway, stopping once only at Craiglie (bus shelter opposite Shell Service station) along the way. The JCU Bus Terminus connects with other Cairns Bus services that continue to Cairns on various routes. This service does not continue past JCU.

Interconnecting Bus Services at JCU
PORT DOUGLAS - JCU, Newman College, St Monica's, St Augustine's, TAFE and Cairns Central - BUS NUMBER 2
This service will run from Mossman JCU/Newman College via Port Douglas, continuing on to Cairns Central with limited stops. This Bus will travel along Macrossan Street, Davidson Street/Port Douglas Road, Barrier Street, Nautilus Street and Old Port Road, continuing to JCU/Newman College. This service will continue to Cairns Central and, when booked, can stop at St Monica's College, St Augustine's College & QLD TAFE Manunda on the way.

WONGA - JCU and Newman College Smithfield Service - BUS NUMBER 3
This service will run from Wonga Beach to JCU/Newman College via Cooya Beach, with limited stops along the way. The JCU Bus Terminus connects with other Cairns Bus services that continue to Cairns on various routes. This service does not continue past JCU.

Interconnecting Bus Services at JCU
HABITAT PORT DOUGLAS - JCU, Newman College - BUS NUMBER 4
This service will run from Port Douglas Habitat to JCU/Newman College. This Bus will travel from the Habitat then along Ulysses Street, Old Port Road, then Captain Cook Highway with stops at Mowbray and Oak Beach. The JCU Bus Terminus connects with other Cairns Bus services that continue to Cairns on various routes. This service does not continue past JCU.
